Made For Moms Collective

Made For Moms Collective offers currated events, guides, resources, and support for mothers and aspiring mothers. The founder, Jessica De La Cruz Piechota, envisions community, connection, and support through the collective. 

Jessica was referred from a previous project I had worked on, and in the initial converstaion, remarked on wanting a creative process where we work closley together to develop a strong brand presentation for the website. This is always my preferred method for any project, and I was happy to work with Jessica to create her vision.

I asked for a few inspirational sites to get an idea of what she was looking for, which is always a useful method to help structure the design without working through mulitple iterations. We came up with the following concept after a constructive back and forth of ideas:

– Soft beige backrougnd

– Bold serif font

– Variations of stacked heading text with images overlapping

– Rounded buttons with bold text

– Dual columns with an image and call-to-action text placment

I put together a mostly completed first draft within the first two weeks. The following two weeks would be consistant communication to refine the design and polish the layout until we were both happy with the final deliverable.
